Ladbroke hurdle @ Ascot

Popped up and busted for time: one selection - Marsh Warbler (14/1) each way in the Ladbroke Hurdle (3.35 Ascot) provided going is soft.

Marsh Warbler was went off a 20/1 shot. The gelding failed to make a place, finishing fifth of the sixteen but seven pound claimer James Best gave the selection an excellent ride from the front. The pairing were still in with a shout coming to the last but were beaten a length for fourth by 11/4 favourite Propsect Wells. The spoils went to Alan King's Rava Star (12/1) who held 40/1 chance Rigidity half a length on the line.
