The horse still had several lengths to make up when putting in a sloppy jump at the cross fence and he went backwards from there, finishng a tired and well-beaten fifth. The race developed into a battle between Its Crucial (7/2f) and King Louis (4/1); KL's superior jumping saw him home by a little over three lengths.
Otarie (7/2jf) stayed on strongly to take the 3.30 after being headed coming to the final flight by Henry Daly's Tambourine Ridge (5/1).
Appleaday won the 4.00 race in convincing fashion following the fall of market leader Bolachoir. The 4/1 chance was available at 9/2 and 5/1 before the off and quickly put distance between himself and his rivals up the hone straight.
At Uttoxeter Saintsaire went off a15/8 favourite and was pulled up, clearly failing to get the trip on the ground. Mr Boo didn't run so I didn't get involved - the race went to 22/1 outsider Casalani who outstayed his field and collared Mixsterthetrixster in the shadow of the post.GeeDeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834633278297488704noreply@blogger.com
